The Lambda Lambda chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi was established on February 27, 2005, by Dr. Doug Keiser, Associate Director of Bands, and fifteen outstanding band members.
Lambda Lambda is one of four chapters in the state of Indiana. The others are Alpha Beta (Butler), Alpha Zeta (Indiana), and Gamma Pi (Purdue). Indiana is part of the North Central District of Kappa Kappa Psi, along with Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Chapter Mission Statement
We, the Lambda Lambda chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, honorary band fraternity, promote the Indiana State University bands through the highest quality service, a high level of individual musicianship, leadership, and by constantly striving for the highest.
