Brotherhood

Brothers of Kappa Kappa Psi are joined by Ritual bonds with over 66,000 other men and women across the country, but the members of the Lambda Lambda chapter are a second family to all of us. Our brotherhood is built on the foundations of service and musicianship, and is enhanced by special social events that are hosted for both the chapter and the bands at large.

Every fall, the brothers make a short trip across the Illinois border to enjoy an afternoon together at Pumpkin Works, a farm with many fun activities. Later in the semester, the brothers host a Christmas party, which is often accompanied by an ugly sweater contest or white elephant gift exchange.

The Lambda Lambda Chapter also hosts social events for the bands. Each concert of the Wind Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band, is followed by a reception with refreshments furnished by the chapter. The chapter is also responsible for the Marching Band Banquet held at the conclusion of the marching season.
